In May 2022 I bought this choker in red, and I fell in love with it. I found out pretty quick that the metal chain is of poor quality, not only did the gold rub off by July, in the first week of November the piece that secures the string broke off.

That’s all besides the point. Before the red one broke a couple weeks ago, I bought this black version as a birthday present for my goth bestie so we could have “mismatch” best friend necklaces. What a mistake. Thankfully I didn’t pay full price for this necklace or I’d have come unhinged. When I finally got to give this necklace as a gift, Goth immediately noticed how flawed and horrible looking this necklace was compared to my red one. There are DRILL HOLES in the CENTER of several beads that you can see skin and the necklace string through. Several more beads have chips/craters/divets whatever you choose to call them, that you can see when the light catches them. Some of the hearts aren’t even shaped like hearts and have flat parts where they should be the round tops of hearts , and other beads holes were drilled at the wrong angle and strung anyway , ruining the over all smooth aesthetic of the hearts laying sideways across your neck choker style. Shame on me for not opening up the plastic baggie it came in and looking at it first, but I didn’t think I needed to. Could have saved myself some embarrassment. I cannot believe this necklace was shipped to me, much less strung and packaged, especially when they’re charging this…
